Residents of Charlottesville, VA were treated to a surprise visit from Michelle Obama, her mother, Marion Robinson, and her two daughters, Sasha and Malia, yesterday. The family was in town doing some sightseeing. First stop — the home of President Thomas Jefferson, Monticello (which means little mountain). On their way home, they ate dinner at The Virginian and then stopped at a hometown favorite, Arch’s, to indulge in some frozen yogurt. Yummy! (If you ever go to Arch’s, I personally recommend the Mississippi Mud — heath bars, gooey brownies, and graham crackers on vanilla!). Earlier in the day, the Obamas toured Luray Caverns. All this fun, while POTUS is in Chicago and Ohio for the day. Next time, take me!!
