“Luke, I am your father” = Spoken Word?

The ever-edgy White House sponsored the first ever “Poetry Jam” last night.  Let’s be clear, this wasn’t a “Poetry Slam” because there was no outright competition.   There was a mix of jazz, theater, and spoken word, though.  The POTUS and FLOTUS greeted invitees including director Spike Lee, actor James Earl Jones, writer Michael Chabon, and musician Esperanza Spalding.   In a neat twist, the entire event was streamed live at www.whitehouse.gov, but an archived copy is hard to come by.

The FLOTUS looked hot, and will surely get tongues wagging with her sexy off-the-shoulder blouse and chique hair.  How did we ever exist without this woman in the White House?
